RALLY GP | KEVIN BENAVIDES WINS!
Adrien Van Beveren has come up short in the last 10 kilometres in the battle with Kevin Benavides who has grabbed his second victory this year after his first on stage 3.
RALLY 2 | NOAH WINS THE RALLY 2 CLASS
Harith Noah has produced the best time in the Rally 2 class and, as a result, the Indian has picked up his first success on the Dakar. Jean-Loup Lepan is second, 1’25’’ behind the Sherco rider and moves to within a little more than 6’ of Romain Dumontier in the general rankings, who today finished 8’ behind Noah.

Mattias Ekström, who was 23rd to start, has produced the best time on the special and picks up his fifth victory on the Dakar and the second this year along with his triumph on the prologue. Stéphane Peterhansel has driven a second Audi RS Q e-tron E2 into second position in front of Guerlain Chicherit, who has finished 4’10’’ behind the Swede. With Carlos Sainz at the foot of the day’s podium, Audi has its three representatives in the top 4.
QUAD | NUMBER 2 FOR ANDUJAR
Manuel Andújar, deprived of victory yesterday due to a penalty, has set the record straight by achieving the best time, 5’ ahead of Alexandre Giroud. The Frenchman lost time on the last fifty kilometres before the finishing line and was not able to make up the gap. As a result, Andújar has won his second special of the year (after stage 4) and now boasts a lead of 11’26’’ over the double title holder in the general rankings.
CHALLENGER | ALSAIF WINS
Saleh Alsaif is confirmed to have the best time at the finish of today’s special. As a result, the Saudi driver picks up his fifth success on the Dakar with an advantage of 3’22’’ over Mitch Guthrie, who again strengthens his lead in the general rankings, with an advantage of more than 34’ over Cristina Gutiérrez and around 43’’ over “Chaleco” López. For the moment, the official Taurus driver sits comfortably on top of the Daka general rankings.
